Earlybird tickets are only $15 (between 8.30 and 9.30pm). After 9:30pm, tickets are $20 and both are available at the door. Scarlet is at St Pauls on Leichhardt, Cnr Leichhardt & Wharf Streets Spring Hill.

Here is a schedule of our night for you; this way if you love live entertainment you will know what time to arrive so you don’t miss out and if dancing is more your thing you can come a little later and move straight to the floor.

Doors Open Scarlet opens her doors at 8.30pm. Upstairs is exclusively Women Only from 8.30pm. Downstairs is exclusively Women Only from 9.30pm.
Scarlet Singles Does not knowing anyone turn you off coming to Scarlet? Well you a not alone, Scarlet is a great place to meet new friends and other singles with many singles joining us each month. Single & looking? Wear a "single & red hot" sticker!

Entertainment Bios

Jules Woo

Jules Woo has been rockin in Brisbane for a number of years. Starting out as a busker in the Brunswick Mall, Fortitude Valley at just 18 years old, and then making her way to the pub scene before leaving Brisbane for a break and change of scenery.

After an extended break from Brissie & her music, Jules Woo has come back and hit the music scene hard with her acoustic rock sounds and big vocals!

2009 & 2010 saw Jules compete in many talent quests and at festivals and other events .

2010 saw Jules complete her first magazine interview for the well-known Brisbane street mag, Scene Magazine. It was the beginning of many interviews and appearances in selected media. (Not bad for a girl without a demo).

Jules Woo's powerful gravelly voice has attracted much interest and is often compared to P!nk, Janis Joplin, Tracey Chapman and Melissa Etheridge.
With never ending passion expressed in her solid collection of original music, Jules carries this passion through to selected cover songs and makes them her own. From Pearl Jam, Melissa Etheridge, The Animals to Florence and the Machine, Guns 'n' Roses, The Beatles. Even acoustic versions of Lady Gaga, Rihanna and some awesome P!nk covers thrown in for good measure.

Jules appeals to people of all ages and is watching the requests roll in.

Currently putting the final touches to her debut solo EP of original music (due for release in June) Jules Woo is screaming towards huge success in Brisbane and the Australian Music Industry and she is the female rock vocalist to expect big things from.

Kristie Schoots

Kristie is a singer songwriter who originates from the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Beginning her musical studies at 12 kristies main focus was always her guitar until she gained the confidence to let her voice be heard...And so out of the depths of shyness has risen an enigmatic soulful voice which seems to carry the weight of the world on shoulders held high. After entering into a songwriting competition in late 2006, and making it through to the finals Kristie embraced her new title of singer/songwriter with both hands and at the age of 23 shifted her sights to Queensland. Now living in Brisbane Kristie herself has begun to shine brighter than ever pursuing the exciting, ever changing, always trying life of a full time musician. Now Kristie is finally doing what she was destined to do from word go...But as they say better late than never!

DJ Stray

Bringing an energy and presence to the stage like no other, DJ Stray fills dance floors and keeps them jumping all night long. Stray believes the most important aspect in a good set is the ability to take the listener into a different dimension. Music is to be used as a way to escape the everyday world, and to allow it to take your mind off of the daily aspects of life.

DJ Lorna

Dj Lorna has been involved in the gay night club industry now for over 10 years, and has been djing for the majority of that time.

She took her lead from one of Australia's first female dj's, Dj Angie, and is still in awe of her experience, longevity and success in a previously male dominated industry. Well isn't that changing!!!

Lorna is the resident Dj at Scarlet Live Venue & Night Club and has also played at events and venues such as Pride Fair Day, LezVegas, The Birdcage, The L-Bar, Options Night Club, The Alliance Tavern, The Dungeon Bar, The Wake, Censored and Rockafellas, just to name a few.

Lorna started her cd collection with only two cds, which she still carries with her for luck. She then upgraded to a shoe box and now has trouble carting in the music that she believes is required to successfully cater to such a vast and varied audience, such as the Scarlet crowd.

DJing has becoming a lifelong passion for Lorna and she craves to see people enjoying themselves, and the music that she turns out for them. She is always happy to hear people's requests, as she believes that this helps to learn what the people on the night really want to hear, and that is the whole point of it, according to her.

Lorna's favourite genre to play is main stream commercial but she loves to break free occassionally and play those deep and dirty mixes that we all love to grind to, at the end of a night. She definitely loves to make sure that the R'n'B crowd is definitely catered for earlier and has never shied away from playing some of the good ol' fashioned favourites to get the crowd jumping.

Lorna's best feature is that she plays for the crowd and not just to them, so always feel free to let her know what you would love to hear, because the chances are, she probably has it!!!!
