City Lickers would like to invite you to celebrate with over 600 women at this year’s Big Lesbian New Year’s Eve Party - the biggest 'all girl' NYE party in Qld!

Human Jukebox, Karaoke, DJ Stray, DJ JugHeadJones, prize giveaways, BONUS souvenir gift... And with three very different spaces to cater to all lesbians, of all ages and of all styles this will be a celebration not to be missed!

What's Your Style?

Chillout Room

Sing up a storm with Karaoke from 9.30pm to 12.30am. And with 2 pool tables and comfy lounges, this is the perfect space to relax, take a break from dancing or to make your own fun.

Live Venue & Cocktail Bar (Downstairs)

This space is specifically planned with our 35+ women in mind. Kristie Schoots and Julz will be our Human Jukebox; you choose the songs so that you get to create your own NYE celebration. Popular, fun favourites from yesteryear to today is the music you can expect on the night - music to dance to that the majority of us will know and love! Seating is available for your comfort and can be reserved in advanced.

Nightclub (Upstairs)

DJ Stray will open our nightclub from 8.00pm-11.30pm bringing an energy and presence to the stage like no other, DJ Stray fills dance floors and keeps them jumping all night long. Expect mainstream commercial - plenty of commercial dance and a great mix of current hits, R&B and retro. At 11.30pm DJ JugHead Jones will take over through to 3am playing kooky music as well as some great classics and the latest chart hits. Expect a broad range of music - anything from commercial, electro to minimal tech and RnB. This space will be red hot for those that mostly just want to dance.

Tickets are available at the door for $25 from 8.00pm.

NB: Early bird tickets have closed. Scarlet Loyalty Program cards are not valid at the Big Lesbian New Year's Eve Party.

DJ Stray

Bringing an energy and presence to the stage like no other, DJ Stray fills dance floors and keeps them jumping all night long. Stray believes the most important aspect in a good set is the ability to take the listener into a different dimension. Music is to be used as a way to escape the everyday world, and to allow it to take your mind off of the daily aspects of life.

For all the fans out there, of DJ JugHeadJones. Coming to a Brisbane event near you....

DJ JugHeadJones has bought the beat to many a venue near you. JugHead has Djed at Bar Soma QSesh, LezVegas, TheLollyFactory, Warehouse Parties, Uber, CLUB320, Bent Band Fest, DungeonDanceBar, L-Fling and many a private party.

JugHead Jones plays a broad range of music and you can expect anything from commercial, electro to minimal tech and RnB. JugHead enjoys playing kooky music as well as some great classics and the latest chart hits.

Coming from a very strong dance and musical background, JugHeadJones offers a DJing experience that is both visually and audibly exciting...

Having only been new to the Brisbane DJ scene, DJ JugHeadJones has proven herself as a great up and coming female Brisbane DJ, with invitations for events flying in, expect to hear the Juggy sounds at a venue near you!!!!

Human Jukebox

Kristie Schoots

Kristie is a singer songwriter who originates from the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Beginning her musical studies at 12 kristies main focus was always her guitar until she gained the confidence to let her voice be heard...And so out of the depths of shyness has risen an enigmatic soulful voice which seems to carry the weight of the world on shoulders held high. After entering into a songwriting competition in late 2006, and making it through to the finals Kristie embraced her new title of singer/songwriter with both hands and at the age of 23 shifted her sights to Queensland. Now living in Brisbane Kristie herself has begun to shine brighter than ever pursuing the exciting, ever changing, always trying life of a full time musician. Now Kristie is finally doing what she was destined to do from word go...But as they say better late than never!

Karaoke Competition

Sing up a storm with Karaoke from 9.30pm to 12.30am in our Chill Out room. It's New Year's Eve and it's all in good fun so we want the good, the bad, and the terrible! And we want solos, duos, and groups!

BUT there is a little extra incentive to be good with $150 PRIZE MONEY up for grabs thanks to St Pauls on Leichhardt.

Sing for us anytime between 9.30pm and 12.00am and if our host picks you in the top 3, you'll sing in our finals for the $150 - winner takes all!

Reserve A Table

Tables of 2-8 can be reserved in advance for your comfort in the Live Venue & Night Club (Downstairs) and the Nightclub (Upstairs). Table positions will be on a first booked basis.

NB: You must have purchased a ticket in order to reserve a table.

Bar Menu

For those that would like a light meal St Pauls will have a Bar Menu available from 8.00-9.30pm.

Social Hour

Our Social Hour will be 8.00-9.00pm. We would love to tell you more but Liquor Licensing prohibits it. But arrive early so you don't miss out.

Wheelchair Access

Wheelchair access will of course be available however for this night only please present at the front door first.

I just wanted to say thanks for making my NYE a fantastic evening.

Being from a regional town (Gladstone), I sometimes feel very isolated and wish I lived in a big city where there was plenty of opportunity to mix with lesbian women.

Policy

Wristbands
Wristbands will be given at the door as proof of payment and ID checked by security. Bar staff cannot serve anyone without a wristband and women without wristbands will be asked to leave.

ID Required
This is an 18 years and over event. Security are required by law to check ID so please remember to bring it.

Noise
Please support St Pauls and the local community by minimising noise for our neighbours. Repeat offenders may be asked to leave.

Smoking
Smoking Balconies with bench seats and dry bars are provided through Halo's restaurant (downstairs at the back) and through the Gaming room (downstairs). Smoking is not permitted out the front of St Paul's or in the car park.

Drugs
This event is a drug free zone.

Intoxication
We do not serve overly intoxicated persons.

Discrimination / Violence
Discriminatory slurs or violence will not be tolerated and will be cause for removal.

Women Only
If you identify as a female and live as a female or if you were born female and identify as gender neutral (ie do not identify as male or female) you are very welcome.
