Flanno-Esk 2008

Hi all,

That's right, The Flanno Party is back in Esk once again... Saturday the 13th September, 2008. Gates open at 9am with the official start time of 4pm. Come early, set up camp, meet and greet and settle in before settling back !!!

This year we have a spectacular line up of artists, some of whom are appearing again due to popular demand - L.S.G, Women in Docs, Cockfighter, Terry Fitzgerald, Kristy Apps, Zia, Tricky BoomBang, Shoshanna Beck and the perennial Trasey Chambers amongst others...
Last year we had a great time jamming on the Sunday - so we welcome anyone who would like to be a part of "the Sista Sessions" the following day. - This will be an open mic - so anyone is welcome to get up and perform. With this addition to the party it means that you are most welcome to stay on the Sunday night!

Okay, so here's how it works...

$50 covers your weekend for camping and entertainment - all you have to do is get yourselves here. Tickets are prepaid, as we need to know numbers so we can arrange porta loos, catering etc. You have the option of bringing your own food, or, the Esk Hospital Auxillary have a bit of a cook up as a fundraiser - last year they sold soup, hamburgers, coffee, tea etc. They then put on a great Phatt Chix Breakfast on the Sunday morning! Food prices are very reasonable. All drinks are BYO.

Please bring everything else you need when you go camping, including chairs and drinking water. There is no town water on tap on our property. We provide porta loos and bush dunnies, but no showers…. You are of course welcome to bring your solar shower.
If you would like to set up a stall, give us a call and we can discuss this option with you.

There are two methods of payment - either postal cheque [sorry no personal cheques - we had a few rubber ones last year] or bank deposit - if you choose the bank deposit option, it is important that you use your name as reference – you must also follow that up by sending us your details by email - like home address etc so we can send your tickets/directions.. out to you!!

This is a women only event - however, due to availability and a great working relationship - we have Deb and Harry doing our sound again this year. We have a strict "no dogs" policy - we have our own pets [except the sheep] staying in the Pet Motel overnight!
