Queens Birthday Weekend 07 - 09 June 2008
Saturday 07 June 2008 meeting 12 noon Ravenshoe "Popular Cafe" to discuss Queens Ball on Sunday. If you can't make it to "Popular Cafe" then we are meeting at Tully Falls Hotel in Ravenshoe for dinner and social get together.
Sunday 08 June 2008 Queens Ball in Cairns (More about this as we gather more information).
Camping at private property or find your own accommodation. If you want to camp with us all e-mail and will give you address.
Queens Birthday Long Weekend 7-9 June
A group of us will be heading off to the Palm Creek Folk Festival. One of our fun loving members, Melanie Hall is a renowned local Bush Poet and she will be participating in the Bush Poets Breakfast at the Festival and will be our contact for R.O.S.A's for that weekend.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss how both of our groups can support each.
You can bring your partners and children as they are welcomed too as I have cable TV and a pool (BYO towels) if the kids want to swim (Brrrrrr too cold for me).
I’ll supply the salad but can you bring the following – chair/s, meat, drinks, ice & esky.

Weekend 27th - 29th June
Camping/Fishing Weekend at the Haughton River Boat Ramp near Giru. This is a byo everything. Some of us however have spare camping gear or room in our tents. There is no shower but there is an environmental toilet. There is plenty of room to fish from the bank and those with boats can take us for a spin and a spot of fishing that we can't reach from the bank. NB:BRING PLENTY OF AEROGARD. As the mozzies can get on the bite at dawn and dusk.
At our events it would be good if we could wear something purple or rainbow, even if it is a ribbon or tie a purple/rainbow ribbon to our cars as this makes us easily identifiable when people are meeting us at the outings. When it is appropriate the rainbow flag will be displayed or alternatively a purple flag.

This month Evi from 'A Bit Rude' in Mooloolaba will be bringing along some of the merchandise from her store, you can purchase on the night if you wish.
This will be your last chance to pay for the July workshop 'Erotic Play-whats it all about?' that is on July 4, 7pm. Only $10.10 Pikki St Maroochydore.
I like to think of erotic play like a big swimming pool.
Most women at SWAT are splashing round in the shallow end, some are just getting their toes wet to see if they want to go in, some have even jumped in the deep end for a bit.
I would like to give everyone the chance to learn from people who have swam the whole length of the pool and even been in the diving pool at times. This is why we will have many guest speakers with lots of different experiences and information.
The July workshop is from a couple of women who can explain what all depths of the pool are like and may even be able to tell you what its like at the bottom of the diving pool.
By learning from other's experiences I hope you can all make up your own mind as to what depth you are going to feel most comfortable and to know all the safety techniques you may need along the way.
